The Right Questions

A short story English/German (unpublished)

I had believed in the ghost of my own projections. The war generation is dying out and I have not yet asked myself what it will mean when this generation doesn’t exist any more. I no longer need to do penance by proxy in my personal war.

En route is time to reflect on the meetings and conversations that made for a successful festival, or exhibition. The encounter with a tattooed man causes the narrator to put everything into question.

German version Tanya Ury & Amin Farzanefar
